Dum vivimus vivamus how to#
This made me think: What is really the truth? Can we trust what we read in textbooks, on the internet, or hear in the news? We constantly subject ourselves to propaganda, persuasion, advertisements telling us what to believe, what to buy, how to dress, etc. This morning in my Environmental Biology class we discussed objective and subjective statements, and whether or not our belief in things are based on actual analysis or blatant acceptance. Not the most glamorous life in the world, but it's still pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. The dryers have to be run twice to even remotely dry clothes, sometimes more, depending on how many pairs of jeans you have. Doing Laundry: Two washers don't have spin cycle.

Weekend Starvation: NOTHING on campus is open. So, now that you have the positives, here are the negatives.ġ. Having a Roommate: This can be both positive and negative, but usually we have a good time. Convenience: Wanna go to the library, get some food, go visit a friend, or walk to class? It will take 10 minutes tops. Doing Really Stupid Stuff: Where else would a group of college kids build a fort out of cardboard boxes in the middle of a lounge?Ĥ. New Friends: 5 people on a futon on a Sunday night watching The Hangover until 2 in the morning? Only in the dorm.ģ. But that's about the extent of their worries.Ģ.
